Why we chose it: Brix saw this site as an opportunity for development while also capitalising on the income from a long-term tenant, Kalkallo Hotel, during the holding period. Given the site's prime location fronting the Hume Freeway, it presents several avenues for development and use.
Our process: To utilise its prime access, town planning is underway to position the site to deliver an industrial strata unit development. Discussions continue regarding the uses for the remainder of the site, to maximise its value and potential.
The outcome: Upon permit approval, Brix will start construction to deliver an industrial development. Brix will also start another town planning process for the adjoining sites and proceed based on the outcome of that process.
